Selena Wilson Receives Engineers Canada’s 2016 Young Engineer Achievement Award

Jun 1, 2016

McElhanney is proud to announce that Selena Wilson, PEng, was presented with the 2016 Young Engineer Achievement Award from Engineers Canada on May 26th in Charlottetown, P.E.I.

Selena has been with McElhanney full-time since 2005, following graduation from UBC, and has been Manager of our Prince Rupert branch since 2013. Her excellent work on major design-build / P3 projects, as well as her active participation in many volunteer organizations, including the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies Canada (ACEC) and the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), make Selena an outstanding young professional.

“I would like to thank Engineers Canada for this award, as well as the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC for nominating me, and McElhanney for encouraging me from the beginning," says Selena Wilson.

The 2016 Young Engineer Achievement Award is the fourth professional award for Selena; in October 2015 she received the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC) Young Professional Award, in 2014, she received the Allen D. Williams Scholarship Award, and in 2013, she was presented with the Young Professional Award from the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies British Columbia (ACEC-BC).

We are so proud of Selena’s accomplishments and are honored to have her on the McElhanney team.
