Prince George is a tightly knit, caring community of 75,000 inhabitants. Founded in 1915, Prince George sits at the crossroads of Highway 97 (north-south) and Highway 16 (east-west), also the confluence of the Fraser and Nechako Rivers. Natural resources form the base of the city's economy, with 3 sawmills and numerous other forestry based businesses providing employment.
