McElhanney's largest branch, our Surrey office consists of an Engineering and Land Surveying department. We have recently expanded and renovated our facilities to keep up with demand from the surrounding community. However, our employees are in demand throughout Canada and routinely work on interesting projects throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

We are also involved in several community programs throughout the year. We are a regular supporter of the United Way, we have an annual scholarship program and many employees volunteer with various charitable organizations. Our annual social activities include a summer barbecue, golf tournament and Christmas party.

Incorporated in 1879, Surrey is well known throughout British Columbia as a leader in the provision of community recreation facilities. One of the fastest growing communities in B.C., Surrey is centrally located, close to two active border crossings and less than 1/2 hour away from Downtown Vancouver. Despite its location, Surrey has over 5,000 acres of passive and active parkland and has maintained a connection to its agricultural roots. Over 35% of Surrey is active farmland.

Surrey is also home to over 15 golf clubs, a vibrant arts and theatre community that is centered around the Surrey Arts Centre and numerous, shops, restaurants and beaches.
