Mt. Lehman Interchange Design, Tender and Supervision

Client: City of Abbotsford and the BC Ministry of Transportation

After developing a compact directional design that was chosen from 4 different firm's options, our team went on to complete this complex project.

The project involved several different sections, including:

• a full reconstruction of the existing Mt. Lehman interchange;
• upgrading of the Mt. Lehman/Fraser Highway intersection;
• a new arterial road connecting Fraser Highway with Old Yale Road;
• improved access to and from Highway 1; and
• full off site servicing for future development of the surplus lands.

In addition to supervising construction of the design, our team was responsible for preparation of contract documents, traffic analysis and public consultation regarding the project.
