North East Gordon Neighborhood Plan

Client: Township of Langley

The North East Gordon Neighborhood Plan consisted of a Planning and Engineering study of a portion of the Willoughby Community Plan in the Township of Langley .

A major constraint placed on the stormwater planning was revealed during field testing that indicated a zero (0) infiltration capacity into the subsurface soils.

Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis was used to develop various options of stormwater management facilities and strategies to be implemented within the Neighborhood Plan. These strategies included use of green streets, detention facilities, combined with conventional storm water management conveyance systems and low flow diversions to the existing streams.
