This large project was fast-tracked and had strict timelines. The project site provided many challenges including:
previous use as a dump site,
adjacent to the Skeena River, which required fishery habitat and sediment control to be included in any project plans and;
uncooperative weather throughout most of the project's duration, leading to challenges with regard to sub-base, granular base and pavement placement and compaction.

Our project team provided materials testing, civil engineering site review, geotechnical field review, structural inspection, survey layout Q&A, provincial and municipal government liaising and project administration services.
