Campbell River Cruise Ship Terminal Survey

Client: The Campbell River Indian Band

Our survey of the proposed cruise ship terminal area included two phases.

The first phase was done utilizing a total station, 3 prism cluster and the analog single beam echo sounder. The first phase utilized three personnel: one onshore running the total station, one navigating the boat, and one monitoring the analog sounder.

The second phase of the survey was done utilizing a digital single beam echo sounder in combination with RTK GPS. The boat was navigated by following a pre-programmed grid spacing of lines within HYPACK onboard with a laptop. The compiled survey information was forward to Westmar Engineering Consultants, who are designing a floating dock structure.
