Growing at a similar pace is our Fort St. John office with a staff of over 100 employees. In March 2004, we moved our office to a newly-renovated building with over 16,000 sq. ft. of space complete with showers and a gym for our staff. McElhanney is the largest survey firm and the largest privately-owned company in Fort St. John. It is not uncommon to see a McElhanney white and green truck pass by loaded with 2 all-terrain vehicles or 2 snowmobiles, the standard equipment for our survey crew.

To keep up with the demand for our services, our Fort St. John office is constantly looking for professional land surveyors, party chiefs and other skilled survey staff. We also hire new graduates of Geomatics and Survey programs and put them to work immediately. Employees have flexible work hours and training courses are provided for continuous career development.

The Fort St. John office is the largest of six McElhanney Land Surveys offices located in western Canada. It is also where the Office of the Company President is located.
