The City of Lloydminster is Canada's only border city. An oil and agricultural community, it is located along the border of Alberta and Saskatchewan with a growing population of 22,000 people.

The City of Lloydminster classes itself as the heavy oil capital of the world, as it sits on one of the world's largest pools of heavy oil. Through the years, new technologies have been developed to extract this valuable resource from underground and refine the crude oil into more useful products.

Keeping up with the growth and technology of the heavy oil industry is our Lloydminster office located along the Yellowhead Highway approximately seven blocks inside the Alberta border. Established in 1979, this office started small but has now grown to 25 staff consisting mainly of professional land surveyors, party chiefs, drafting technicians and other survey staff serving clients in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
