To help protect our staff, clients, and subcontractors, McElhanney has a dedicated internal COVID-19 case management team. This team includes representatives from human resources and our occupational health nurse service.
In the event an employee shows COVID-19 symptoms or is confirmed positive for COVID-19, our case management team will follow procedures to eliminate or minimize the risk of others being exposed to the virus, and they will work with local health care professionals to assess an employee’s fitness for work before returning them to the workplace.
As noted in our Safe Work Method, McElhanney staff complete a daily, 30-second survey through our inhouse wellness app. The data collected from our Employee Wellness Tracker helps us to identify, as early as possible, if anyone is experiencing symptoms and then we alert our case management team to check in with them to help provide support as needed.
