McElhanney successfully used the Galaxy T2000 system to gather data in difficult mountainous terrain, providing LiDAR and aerial photography acquisition for 2894.68 Km2 at 11 different sites across BC, including, O’Cock, Chuchi, Airline, Academus, Takla Landing Grid, Old Landing Grid, Buckley
The data has been classified to GeoBC specs in LAS / LAZ format, data classes included Ground – class 2, Noise – class 7 & Non-Ground – class 1, meta data files, hydro flattening constraint, water points into class 7, re-flights for gaps, average RMSE over project sub-areas was 5 – 8 cm. Spectral encoded DEM and report also supplied. We have used our Online Reporting System (Vertisee) to track the completion of each project phase.
