As a community founded in the late 1800’s, Victoria offers a diverse mix of culture and amenities from academia and arts, to the outdoor recreation opportunities and an oceanside lifestyle. An historic provincial capital, Victoria has all the benefits of a large city, but retains the friendly community feel that defines Vancouver Island.
Our Victoria branch offers a wide array of McElhanney services including civil/municipal and structural engineering, land surveying and environmental consulting, delivering projects both locally and throughout the greater Vancouver Island region. Municipal planning is also offered locally.
Throughout the Capital Region there are examples of our contributions to the community. These are often hidden from view, in the municipal infrastructure projects we’ve completed. More visible are the many new neighborhoods we have been responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of, as well as major highway involvement and bridge projects such as Highway 1 at the new McKenzie interchange.
From the more remote communities of Port Renfrew and Sooke, to the heart of downtown Victoria, we have been involved in making it easier to live, work and play.
