Sutherland Ave. ATC ‘2’ Lake Ave. to Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC

Services Provided

Transportation and utility upgrading, watermain, sanitary sewer & storm sewer improvements, roadways improvements, multi-use path bridge crossing.

Benefit to the Client

Our Kelowna team managed and completed a fast-tracked design and tender schedule for the City of Kelowna. Significant additional works were successfully designed and constructed concurrently with the original project scope. Despite the additional works, the project was delivered on schedule and budget.

Ethel Street ATC – Phase 5, Kelowna, BC

Services Provided

Transportation engineering, detailed design, project procurement / tendering services, construction and contract administration.

Benefit to the Client

After the existing watermain was found to be in poor condition due to significant corrosion and pitting, McElhanney’s designs allowed the City of Kelowna to obtain the IHA approvals needed to facilitate 400m of 250mm diameter watermain replacements while remaining on schedule.

Riverside Townhomes, Penticton, BC

Services Provided

Topographic survey, legal survey, phased strata development application coordination, civil design drawings, construction administration, and more.

Benefit to the Client

Our multidisciplinary team allowed us to complete various project components in-house, thereby eliminating the need for the City and the Client to hire additional consultants. Our established relationships with the Client and the City also allowed us to streamline approvals and design changes.

Crystal Heights & Apex Strata, Lake Country, BC

Services Provided

Construction & Legal Surveys

Benefit to the Client

Our experience working with developers, architects, and construction personnel on large multi-phased strata developments resulted in the efficient delivery of survey services required throughout conceptual phasing design, strata unit pre-sales, construction, and final registration.

28th Avenue and 31st Street Improvements, Vernon, BC

Services Provided

Design, Tendering, Inspection and Construction Administration.

Benefit to the Client

28th Avenue and 31st Street required a revitalization of the streetscape and deep underground services. Our team delivered a project that created a safer pedestrian environment including safer vehicle turning movements, trees and benches. The City and local business provided praise for the improvement to the public and business for this core downtown area.

Outdoor Public Skating Rink, Penticton, BC

Services Provided

Topographic survey and construction layout, sanitary and water servicing, storm water management, parking lot grading.

Benefit to the Client

As Activate Penticton was gathering public and corporate donations to operate an outdoor rink at no cost to the City of Penticton or the public, our team wondered how we could contribute to this revitalization project. McElhanney Cares was an obvious solution!
