Canada’s most ambitious infrastructure projects continue to shape communities nationwide – fueling economic growth, modernizing essential systems, and supporting sustainable mobility. ReNew Canada’s 2026 Top 100 Projects Report reflects this momentum, highlighting a record $343B in public-sector infrastructure investment: the highest total in the report’s 20-year history.

2026 also marks a significant milestone for McElhanney – our team contributed to 20 projects on the list, earning Platinum Status for the second consecutive year among the Top 100 Players.

Reflecting on this year’s recognition, Jason Ashwin, Vice President of Alternate Project Delivery, shares: “Being recognized at the Platinum level once again is incredibly rewarding. As client needs and delivery models continue to evolve, our focus remains on helping navigate complexity and deliver outcomes that create lasting value for the communities these projects serve.”

Key insights from the 2026 report reflect both the continued growth of Canada’s landscape and the contributions of McElhanney and our partners in shaping its future:
