Fort McMurray #468 First Nation Welcome Sign and Firepit Structure
McElhanney contributed to a firepit structure and a welcome sign, both of which were designed to honor the land, for Fort McMurray #468 First Nation.
Fairview-Ridley Connector Corridor
One of Western Canada’s largest container trade corridors, the Fairview Container Terminal in Prince Rupert, BC has experienced a boom in local export transload operations. As the terminal continues to grow, so too has the volume of traffic in Prince Rupert—it is estimated that the number of trucks travelling on Highway 16 has grown from 50 to 200 trucks per day.

North Courtenay Connector
The BC Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure wanted to improve the link between the Comox Valley and the Island Highway on Vancouver Island, with wider paved shoulders and a multi-use pathway, to improve safety for pedestrians, equestrians, and cyclists.
Nipigon River Bridge
Completed in 2016, the new cable stayed four-lane Nipigon River Bridge replaced a two-lane steel deck truss bridge which had been built in 1974. The bridge is part of the Trans-Canada Highway and carries traffic over the Nipigon River in northwestern Ontario.
Raising of the Bayonne Bridge
The historic raising of the Bayonne Bridge has permitted the largest modern supertankers and shipping vessels vital access to Newark Bay.
